Beth Melrose, the visionary founder of Melrose Multimedia, has cultivated a dynamic career in design and multimedia that began in her high school years. As Editor of her yearbook, Beth’s passion for design was ignited, setting the stage for her future endeavors. Her journey into the digital realm began in the 1990s, during her time at the University of Nevada, Reno, where she studied Journalism and self-taught website design—a field in its nascent stages at the time.
Beth’s professional trajectory took shape with roles at Donrey Outdoor Advertising, where she crafted billboards for the Reno and Lake Tahoe areas. Her career continued to flourish as she served as the in-house graphic designer for prominent institutions like Reno Hilton Resort & Casino and Kinko’s Printing & Copying Services.
In 2002, Beth took a bold step and relocated to South Lake Tahoe, founding Melrose Multimedia. Here, she met Angie Olson of Angie’s Signs, collaborating on the design and production of signage for the vibrant Heavenly Village in Stateline, Nevada. This collaboration showcased her ability to blend creative vision with practical design solutions.
Melrose Multimedia has worked with a diverse and impressive clientele, including Hard Rock Cafe, Sierra at Tahoe Ski Resort, Mt. Rose Ski Resort, John Ascuaga’s Nugget, ResorTime, and artist Aaron Hagar of Hagar Arts. Beth’s commitment to innovation is evident in her exploration of website design, highlighted by her creation of Melrose Days Place. This fan site for the soap opera “Days of Our Lives” garnered significant attention from NBC, ABC, and Sony Productions, leading to opportunities as an advertising affiliate for NBC’s Days of Our Lives and Disney-ABC’s SoapNet.
